I am trying to find the cause of my low ph in my 75 gallon tank. Could it be the skimmer? Ph usually runs around 7.8, ammonia is 0, nitrite is 0 and nitrate is 10. I have a skimmer and uv also. How long do test kits last for? I have a api on now, but it will need replaced shortly.

I have looked at the disease forum. I think my PB Tang started out with white ich and got better, now it looks like he had black ich. I see where the treatment is a formlyne bath. would garlic extract still help rid of the disease?

it was the highes ammonia i had seen somewhere like 20 ppm, i think its best to rid myself of the sand. I'll give u an update tomorrow
