you can do it but it is more difficult than most corals and takes much longer (2 to 3 weeks). You have to grove and then split the skeleton then put a wedge under and slowly push the two halves further and further apart until the polyps pull apart.

for future reference there is no need to glue anything with something that spreads as fast as xenia. I would have just placed it against the back wall and the xenia will quickly spread on to the wall. I have done this a few times with xenia or star polyp and then I removed the rock it started on...

Why are you using a liner and not epoxy and fiberglass? It would be much better for you than pond liner(because of the viewing windows.) Also you don't have to worry about it ripping

They should be fine together in a 150 but there are no guarantees. I would add the queen last as she will probably end up the "queen of the tank"
