What is the difference between these 2 products? Just higher quality carbon? What does the elite do for your aquarium that the regular doesnt? Is it realy worth it to get the elite at twice the price of the regular stuff?

Can you just cut a big stalk of xenia and super glue it to a piece of rubble. I dont really want to frag it just put it on a piece of rubble to trade in to the lfs and make more room for other coral.
