    Hydroid eating nudibranchs

I have a hydroid problem that is driving me nuts. They are brown fuzzy hydroids. they have been overtaking my zoo polyps. I have been pulling them out by hand and twice as many seem to come to their funeral. I have found that, besides key hole limpets that may eat SPS coral, there is a...

You will need to acclimate them for sure, especially the shrooms!

Sounds like the bad ones to me. With a picture I am sure Bang Guy can ID for you. Maybe try a sixline wrasse to eat them before they become a plague!!

    Can they fit???

In my opinion, you will definitely have too many fish in a 90. Especially if you want to have "lots of corals" and 135 lbs. of LR. You definitely should forget the Hippo (blue) tang. I had mine for two years in a 125 and it seemed to need more room to swim when it got bigger so I sold it to...

    Another RIO horror story!!

A member of this forum (and a friend of mine) had a dilemma yesterday and it seems that his Rio pump running his UV was the culprit. Read about it here: https://www.saltwaterfish.com/#post759007

    Help Tank trouble

An update on Seaham's tank. Looks like his Rio pump running his UV sterilizer died and the bulb melted down the inside of the UV chamber. Everyone get those old Rio's out of the tank, QUICK!!!!

    Blue spotted shrimp goby?

I picked up this little guy a while ago and can't seem to find an exact ID on him. Does anyone have one or know exactly what type of goby he is? He likes to hang out in a burrow with my pistol shrimp and he likes meaty foods from what I can figure.

    Has anyone gone sexual??

I have had that occur with grape colerpa so I rid my fuge of it totally! I now have 2 types of mexicana, chatemorpha(green brillo look), grass blade colerpa, and red bubble colerpa. They have been in this particular fuge for about 10 months now without a single problem. Except that they grow...

    bubbles

My guess would be either bubbles from the skimmer getting back to the tank somehow or a powerhead that may be sucking air. Where is your skimmer located?

    My New Baby

Sorry guys, for not replying. My Optimum Online crapped out again. Just got it fixed this AM. I actually bought him at the LFS! :D Our local wholesaler apparently got in a bunch of these huge peacocks. My LFS bought 2 of them and this was actually the smaller of the two. Transfering him was not...

    the effects of moon lighting

Just my opinion, but those hi-lites are not nearly as nice looking as the real moonlights. The Custom Sealife ones are just a little brighter for $20-$25 each, but you can't beat the look of the Blueline Moonlights IMHO. Well worth the extra $$ ($50 each), if you have it!!!! I have seen the...
