Something to consider! you may want to consider using 2"x4"s instead of 4"x4"s. The stand will be a hell of lot easier to move around and will easily support a 75 gal.

FYI, Not sure how this will work with salt water but works incredible for stains. It's called Tuff Stuff. You can find it in the auto section at Wal-Mart. It's a red can with a yellow top. It's for auto interiors but works great for home carpet. Worth a shot.
