    Worm ID

I did some researching here and I cannot seem to find a definitive answer to this worm my wife saw. This was the best picture she captured, I will try to find something better. Does it look like a bristleworm at all??

    are all damsels devils?

you might get lucky. I had already put two 4 striped damsels in my tank to help get it going after I foudn out people said they would terrorize the tank. So far they are the most scared fish I have in the tank. I also have 2 clowns, 1 yellow tang, and a jawfish....they all get along fine...

    Ordering the specials?

Yeah and I sympathize with the whole charges things, but it says on their shipping info there are these surcharges. I know it sucks to have to order $79 worth of stuff, and then tack on another $13. But it could be worse. Guys I didn't mean to sound all wound up. But the gas and surcharge...

    Ordering the specials?

You guys need to settle down. You go to a lot of other online live goods stores and you will pay a minimum of $20-40 for shipping...in addition to a surcharge and gas surcharge. Another big store I order from charges a $35 handling fee, and 10% of your total order, plus extra fees for extra...

    DIY canpoy paint question

I got this acrylic stuff from the hardware store, Laspar I believe or something along those lines. It was gloss white so it helps reflect the light and it holds up to heat and saltwater. And no need for poly to add on it.

    Fuge critters

I am looking to get some good critters to help my fuge and stir up the sand in my main tank. I've heard spaghetti worms and bristle worms can help, and pods and stars. So if anyone is willing to part with some good stuff I'm looking. Thanks.

    Amount of lighting

Just finished my canopy and installed the lights....now my question is how long is a good amount of time to leave them on? I want to leave them on enough to help carolline and corals, but not enough were my electric company starts salavating. I have 2 6' VHO (320 W) and 3 250W MH. I was...

    Help Me Please!!

Read books. They have a lot of good starter info in them. The Conscientious Marine Aquarist: Robert Fenner is a good one. I also picked up The New MArine Aquarium: Michael Paletta, Saltware Aquariums for Dunmmies, and an Idiots guide to Saltwater Aquariums. All are good starters. Once you...

Can't you add a center brace but not attach it to the stand? Just have it in there for support but be removable to view the entire tank?

    New tank on wheels . . .

What they mean by it is those casters are not designed to hold the weight of your tank. Your 75 gallon tank can weigh over 600 lbs in water alone. People have thought of it before, but rationale took over and realized it's not safe. Trust me...it may look fine now, but someday you will come...

    New Hobbyists

Welcome to the hobby as I did the same thing your son has. I had a FW up until this year. I was discouraged by the complexity and price of the hobby until I found this board. I read here for over a year before I even purchased a tank. The great thing about this place is you almost never have...
