when putting together this kind of setup, why did you choose pc's?
Well lets just say cost had a little to do with it. Lighting is a very touchy subject. I have done a lot of reading and asking Q's. There are so many Q's and so many different answers to the same question. While one person swears by MH's another swears by T5's. I have seen tanks with several of the swirly 40 watt fluorescent household bulbs that have a broad variety of healthy corals. I've even seen tanks in bay windows with only natural light that do great. First it was T12's then T8's then T5's and PC's. Lights are forever getting smaller (more compact) and more efficient. LED's are the new up & coming fad. Sure PC's will not "grow" coral as fast as MH's but IMO as long as they are healthy and strong does it matter how fast they grow. If I have a coral that requires more light I will have to place it closer to the surface (Light) than one that requires less light This is all JMO based on my personal research. I am in NO way what so ever an expert. I simply weighed the initial costs and running costs and concluded that PC's would best suit my needs and abilities.

It's clearing up nicely so I added some color and reworked some of the scape! Tell me what you think

Thanks! Should be enough copepods on the LR from the 55, if not I'll add a bag. I used some water change water and the bio chem stars from the 55.

Hey Jas;
Looks good.
How is the flow in your tank?
Thanks P!!! The flow is really good actually. If I turn the Loc-Lines down it blows a hole in the sand. I put a Koralia 2 on the back pointing forward so flow will reach into the caves and that worked out pretty good too

Well, The 55 is empty
Got everything in the 125 now. Just have to get it cleaned and figure out the design for the sump/fuge...
Dori (blue hip) committed suicide last night
I woke up this morning and found her on the floor behind the tank. Everything else is doing great!
