Remember Mboswell1982, I'm doing some experimental stuff with my live sponge setup in the sump lol... I'm trying to eliminate a skimmer, but it may end up not working the way I envision so the safe play is getting the skimmer. I'm a gambling man myself though.

your list is good and the additions Subie suggested are good too. I would like to add timers and especially a GFCI.

ground fault curcuit interupter. basically what it does is if it detects any sing of water near the outlet(ie. drips on outlet) it will trip and ct the power so there is no fire. much needed

i dont know why anyone wouldnt use one of those things, cause they arent expensive at all, and if you dont use one, u need to be handed a hand crafted sign, made personally, just for you, by bill engvall :p

I am a HUGE FAN of free...I would probably spend more in gas than what is justifiable in the end...just cause it's something that is FREE

LOL I got an error cause you used too many emotes...never seen that.

now i know a 45g tank cant be a nano, but oh well LOL its free, along with a free sump, so thats money we aint gotta spend LOL

BOsYYYYYY!! about time bro. congrats. have you looked into an eggcrate cover? as for skimmer, aqua C remora or an octopus BH 100 or what ever it was called. i got my 2 Knanos #1s on the bay to the E for 40 with shipping. if my picassos were breeding id send you a pair! oh wait. i just read the 45 gal for free! scratch everrrrrrry thing lol. id go for knanos 3, maybe 2's idk.. with that tank bro since u got it for free, invest in some MH.. what are the dimensions? is it really wide like a breeder? if it is, man thats a good tank. since you got a sump, see if theres room in the sump for a fuge. go all out with this one bro its gona be a gorgeous tank. DEF get some SPS in there!! ZOAS and mushrooms are good beginner corals. i LOVE my zoas. i am picking up a riccordia next week, gona post some great pictures. If you are doing coral bro def get MH for some great growth. CUC, blue leggers, snails, some turbos you know the usual. now you can get your firefish lol. get a purple one, try to get a pair! that would be sweet. i dont think you would be over stocked with the pair of fires, clowns, and a goby.
