Just a word of advice.....I think the problem was fixed by Savko, but reportedly people ordering on their online site were having their CC info stolen and charges being charged to their CC.....It turns out it wasn't Savkos' doing, but apparently they were hacked, so I would advise if and when you order to just call them and do it over the phone........

crox...I'm not sure...everything is on hold a bit until HD comes to lay the family room carpet...the stand is done...Its really nice. I still have some plumbing to do on the tank but want to set it up in position first...All of your LR is being fed and aerated on hold for awhile. my diy live rock is soaking, and beginning the curing process....I got side tracked also by plumbing the main tank to the basement and then I have been building stuff to hide the plumb to basement pvc ...I actually built a door!!! these delays are not good...Now I am having evil thoughts of plumbing the new tank to the basement too? but probably I won't bother since the stand can easily hold a large sump....As soon as the carpet gets installed, the tank goes up.

I love my stand, I love my stand...I'm at work and will put a pic on as soon as I get home...I think I'm burning myself out with all this power tool stuff...now I went and built a door, literally, to hide my plumb to the basement job. And totally messed up the family room again...I was hoping to have the new carpet in by now, because the old one is a bit embarrassing, pretty stained up now from kids and dogs (never mom of course, who now has sawdust all over the family room)

Hey if the kids can dirty it up why can't you???? How old are the kids??? Sit them all down and say "just look at this mess" Tell them "you" didn't do it

Ok...I can't take a pic with it all messed up...once again it became my workbench while I made the doors and weird stuff to hide my main tank plumbing...also the tiles are not done...just bisqued, I will try and glaze fire them tonight. still don't know if I will use them though...they might mess up my stand which I like just as it is now.....Ok, I'm cleaning up my mess, and I'm definately grounded for making it. Also went back to lowes today and found the union ball valves. they didn't have any last week...so I can also get going on the plumbing ....but probably not this weekend since the kids are mad at me for working so much on this stuff.

Try some masking tape at first to see where/if you like them. Then for permanent that glue i mentioned before :)

ok vote time...I think they are a little tacky and draw too much attention to the stand...the kids like them. And as usual, the one's they glazed turned out better than the one's I glazed....

If they do go on...I think they probably need to be in some type of molding frame like pictured with the larger whiter star tile...The other thing I can do with them is have them on the boxes I will have to build to project the pendant halides out and off of the wall a bit above the tank. They may be less conspicuous above the tank....I will probably use 3 white pendant halides to light the tank and hide their ballasts behind the wall in the laundry room.
