Looks great flower, well not GREAT but still better then my 95. my 95 has 3 types of zoas and 3 fish. My pico on the other hand.... It has 5 hermits, 3 snails, some VidaRock by cerameco and about 8 types of zoas and 1 SPS.

Well since I have to restock my corals, I really want some SPS, but my nitrates were way out of range...so when the new sump and refugium is fully operational, the skimmer broke in and nitrates at the magic 0...I will begin to rebuild the reef.

Oh that's so nice of you. I'm not ready to start getting any coral just yet until my numbers improve. Shipping coral isn't hard but it is a pain in the butt and expensive. Too much trouble for you to go through for sending a frag.
However I would love to see a picture if you have one.

Your Welcome Again Flower!!!!!! Glad things are going well. The tube on the skimmer is fine.....does make life a little easier. I was just curious how the skimmer reacts and how long it takes it to come back online skimming normally after you feed. I'd be leery of feeding those liquid foods as they can contribute to pollution issues within the tank as well. As far as the Sea fan they are/can be tough. Aren't they suppose to be back lit? I thought I had read some time ago they should be????

As far as my issue, they want to pay for 1 and 1/2 the shipping costs.....That's not the agreement, and I refuse to accept the terms, so I'll proceed from there to try to collect everything. Hey next month tell the mortgage company that your only paying 1/2 of your mortgage since you didn't like the weather or heating costs were exceptionally high and see what they tell you!!!! POUND SAND!!!!! Sorry sand a sore subject here as well!!!!!
You gotta just love service oriented businesses!!!!

Well I haven’t done any tests yet...maybe this evening. I added a drain tube of about a foot to make it easier to empty the cup when I am not going to clean it, just empty it. LOL..You are correct about my old skimmer...after running it constantly for a month I didn’t get that much.
I love the sump system, I can't thank you enough! I am still waiting on SWF.com for my sand. I have some small rock chunks I had in the intank refugium I set down in the 90g sand to try and seed it. I will take those rocks and put them in the new fuge when I have the sand. On the rock that looks like dead coral, white almost like a finger...it came with the rubble rock for the bubble trap you sent, but it wouldn’t fit in the hole you made to hold the hose...so it too will go in the new fuge.
The skimmer goes nuts when I feed the corals, I don’t think the fish let anything escape into the overflow to do anything to the skimmer. I will have to shut down the skimmer for the day I feed the corals. All I have is some GSP, Kenya tree and mushrooms so once a week I give them a capful of (different types) of coral food...The small patch of zoa and my sea fan are not doing well, the fan has dead spots and the zoa patch is shrinking. It just seems that once they get on a downward spiral it keeps going no matter what I try.
Has UPS come through yet? Oh and happy Xmas... today and tomorrow are your Holidays I believe.

So after all the hassle they cut you a check for the shipping costs! Why do they sell insurance? They owe you the shipping AND the replacement money. Lawyer up and make them pay for the lawyer too..Or better yet...Go to Judge Judy, or Judge Alex, Peoples Court..They would love to get a hold of this and humiliate UPS nationally on TV

LOL..Up to date info is....My boss sold me two 30g tanks, one I want to convert to a sump and the other I plan to make a seahorse tank. Since the tank is not a good tall one I will keep Fuscus seahorses which only get about 3-5 inches big. I started a diary on another thread.
However I asked 2Quills for some help picking out a good pump for the second sump. We are waiting on SWF to send me sand so I can get the refugium up and going. Right now I am running only the sump.
Acrylic51 has been jerked around by UPS, he insured the first sump and fuge which was destroyed in transit. Instead of paying the insurance claim they paid him back his shipping money on one and only half on the other.
