OH, that makes sense. Derp.
They really do look fantastic. They also look like they'd blend into the wall really well....bet you have some fun times finding them on occasion, eh?

LOL...I see yours watches what your doing too. My fish always hid when I came near the tank, and if I were doing water changes they were not seen for the rest of the day. Seahorses are so different, they really seem to check us out, and are curious about what we do.

Seriously, I step into the room they are at the front of the tank swaying and begging for food. I peek in and see them hitched and go into the room and they are right there front and center. I don't get it, but I like it.
Their colors have lightened up a lot. When I got them, they were almost black. Now, they match the rock wall.
I really think I got super lucky with the horses I got. They are doing great. I think I may add one more in like two months. I want to make sure the parameters don't fluctuate.

My Kuda stay black until the female gets close to them, then they pale to grey. My background is black...LOL..they have a little red on them, from macroalgae growth. I like seahorses because they seem so friendly...kind of like puppies.
If you get another are you going for male or female?

Thanks!!! I am having horrible luck with everything right now. I'm talking at home, work, and with my tanks. It feels like everything is crashing down at once. I am a strong person and will perservere, but I need to catch a break soon.
College has been going well. I am in week six (I think it's six) of my 2 classes. I have a 100% in one course and a solid B in the other.

I'm so sorry to hear about your male.
Keep an eye on the others for any possible warning signs. If there's a bacterial infection you may want to make sure you have a hospital tank ready and some Furan II on hand.
