I know. I was overreacting. They all finally ate today. They new guys are starting to follow my old one's lead. She eats the mysis straight from the baster.

My old female snicks the opening and sometimes I worry she is going to injure herself.
Oh and I found out why there was so much algae growing in my tank. I went away for a week and my mom was caring for the tank. She overfed the one horse and left the light on the whole time.

Being sick gave me some time to really watch my horses today. I was laying in bed and watching my female horse swim up under the output of the canister filter and then swim directly into the flow of the output. This caused her to be carried away in the current. She did this repeatedly for at least 10 times before I finally dozed off. I also observed the male hitched to the open ended airline tubing allowing the bubbles to hit him. The other female liked hanging upside down from the feeding dish.

They're so relaxing to watch, aren't they?? I love having my horse tank in the bedroom. They're just so mesmerizing, and when the actinics are on at night and the corals are fluorescing, it's really like looking into some fantasy world.
Speaking of which, when you come down for MACNA 2013 you have a standing invitation (and this goes for everyone coming down!!) to come visit Michelle and I and peek in our tanks!

Sorry to hear you aren't feeling well. I love my horse tank in the bedroom/office, it isn't just watching them that's so soothing to me, its the sound of the water as well.

Thanks Flower!!! I just need to get rid of this stupid bug I have!!! I think it's a combo of strep and bronchitis. Luckily, I am sort of off today and tomorrow. Hopefully, I will get enough rest to knock it out of my system. I just have no energy right now.

How fars the move. My last move was only 4 miles and it took me an entire day to move my 24 nano!
I hear ya. Moving the 37g seahorse tank was an all-day affair, when we finally got our place. I'm almost scared to think of the logistics of moving the 110g tank when we reach that point, but hopefully I won't have to worry about that for 10 years or more.

I don't know where I am moving to yet. It could 10 miles or several hundred. I haven't made up my mind.
My horses are getting so social with one another. The females literally hang around each other. I am going to clean up the tank and get some more video. Seahorses are so neat to watch.

That's a heck of a cone of possibility there! What is the deciding factor for the move?

I would sure love to see video on your tank and watch them in action. ...................Looks like not only have I lost the ability to go to "New Posts" and not be able to serperate the paragraphs, I just noticed that I have no smilies and can't post video or pictures anymore either.

It all depends at where I am financially and career wise at the time of the move. I am leaning towards staying in Jersey for the moment, but I like to flip flop.
