I only dosed three times. One dose every three days. I did a water change before each dose, I manually removed any hair algae I saw, and ran my carbon, uv, and skimmer the whole time. The stuff on my sand disappeared with the first dose. Meowzer, they say for larger tanks to add the dose in two parts at different times of the day. I just dosed it all at once. But since you dosed chemiclean, I would wait until after a few more water changes before dosing if you decide to. Although it is supposed to be out of the system in 24hrs. First pic is the best one I have to show the crud, second is a full tank shot with flash, excuse the mess. Will get a better one later. Will be dosing this weekly or monthly, whichever seems to work for my tank.

Thank you Meowzer. It was a risk I felt I had to take. I had done plenty of reading on it, so I wasn't too worried. Is there any way yours could be diatoms? If not, this stuff is supposed to work on brown algae. Glad to hear your cyano is gone!!

Ya know guys, yesterday evening I was actually sitting by the tank and really enjoying it. For the first time in a long time lol. I really think my dispar anthias are beautiful, and I might add a couple more of them. My goal was to get a tail spot blenny some time in the future, but a couple more of these would be nice. My current stock is a yellow tang, a sailfin tang, 3 chromis, 3 anthias, 2 clowns, flame angel, and a mandarin. Would like to get them soon and into qt. Opinions. Here is a pic of the anthias I have. Just love their color. They add a lot to a tank. :)

Well LOL today must be sparring day in my aquarium. I had front row seats for the show. Not the best pics, but my chromis and anthias are going at it.
