Thanks Guys. Everything is good tonight too. Ate well, parameters good. Still white spots, but no worse. I am hoping for a full recovery. Very happy so far.. And the blenny has hosted my monti cap in the 180g. lol. He is getting bolder. He comes out into the open when the feeding frenzy starts, and grabs a few bites lol. Noone is bothering him either. But, the algae is getting worse on the sand. I will definitely do a lights out period again. Good news is though, it is not snotty anywhere. Just mainly a dark brown/red on the sand and on one small part of one rock. So overall it is better than it was, but worse on the sand.... I can always replace the sand in the long run if I have to, and I am glad there is no more snot on the rocks and stuff.....

Well, got my aquavitro salinity salt today. Did a water change with the maintenance. I have to say, my green birdsnest extended its polyps bigger and better that I have ever seen. Coincidence? Here is a pic of the blenny, and my dwarf feather duster. Oh, and I got a pic of my mandarin too. He always hides lol.

Well, lucky does not have any white spots anymore. Doing good. Starting to see diatoms in his new home. But, he is making a full recovery....

Update. He still isn't 100%. He ate maybe 2 mysis shrimp today. No white spots, and water parameters are fine. I really can't tell at this point what will happen...

He was a little pig when I first got him lol. Yesterday was the first day that he did not eat anything. And today, literally he only ate two mysis. It could be the copper treatment, i dunno....

if your ph is off, this could cause some problems with the eating JME. What type of copper are you using?

Yep, mardel coppersafe is what I use. And thanks, goodluck with your fish too. I would hate to loose this little guy. He has made it through a rough transfer where I would of bet money he was in the dying process. Really upset me too. I am not giving up on him. No more white spots, but I saw him scratch once??? Treating for atleast 30 days. If he doesn't get better soon, I will switch to something different. Ph tonight is 8.3. ammonia -0, nitrite-0, nitrate 10. Temp-78. steady.

Hope your fish does well. It's amazing how attached you can get to something not furry:) Thanks for the info on the copper. I am waiting for my Bi-color Anthias. I asked the lfs if I can keep them there if I pay for them. He said he could hold them for me as long as I needed. How long does it take to find out if a fish has Ich or a parasite? Should I still quarantine after gettting them from the lfs if they have kept them for me and no problems present?
Didn't mean to hijack your post.

You might want to soak the food in garlic or vitamins. How are you dosing the copper?
Ya know, I do add selcon but I always forget to mention it. LOL. This copper stays in the water column, so I only dose the water changes per the instructions. Thanks.

Yep. QT them anyway. Keep them in QT for a couple weeks. This not only makes it easier to treat them, it gives you a chance to make sure they are eating good, etc. For anthias, who can be very picky and hard to feed cause they won't eat, give them frozen mysis, and mine love frozen marine plankton and cyclopeeze..

I would not switch to another method but that is just me.
+1
I don't think I will need to. I just get impatient lol.

Well, he ate maybe one shrimp today lol. He is hiding behind the rocks too. He doesn't look any different today. No white spots. Added garlic extreme too. No help. He is ok, he's just not acting right or eating good. I'll just ride it out and see how he does day by day. On another note, the tailspot blenny is doing great in the 180g. He actually comes out now and into the feeding frenzy lol. He is a very bold little thing!! One of my clowns has a gash in its upper fin. She must of got too close to the yellow tang, who is a crazy fish, and he must of sliced her. It seems to be ok, not too deep, and is only the fin.
