Michele Bachmann: Our First Female President?

I have no problems with women leaders that have brains.  That leaves Palin and Bachmann out of the picture.
 
The "much of america" that hates gays you are referring to are the same one's that probably would wear KKK hoods if they had the chance.  They fear anything or anyone that is different than them. 
 
The only economic issues Bachmann speaks about are the same talking points every other Republican has.  None of them provide solutions.  They play the "blame game" and think cutting spending is the quick-fix cure all for our economic troubles.  Again, tell me what jobs growth bills have come out of the House since the Republicans took over?  Show me one bill that was introduced to the Senate that promotes job growth.  What exactly has the House done in the last six months except say they will not agree to any tax increases, and passed legislation to defund Planned Parenthood?
 
Faith don't pay the bills.  Last I've seen, faith can't even create jobs. Texans relied on Slick Rick's "faith" last April when he held one of his "Pray To End The Drought" revivals in Austin.  Since that faithful day, Texas has fallen into one of the worst droughts in the last two decades.  Yea, faith worked real well there.  Obama said faith guided some of his decisions?  When?  Last I heard, no one could actualy confirm the guy even attended church on a regular basis, if at all.

There were several job bills brought by the republicans for jobs. Apparently your blog site didn't inform you.

Oh, and to further point out your ignorance on the topic......what percentage of california voted no on gay marriage again? I am pretty sure the 85% of the latin community that voted no will not be wearring kkk hoods anytime soon.
Neither will the 75% of african americans also against gay marriage.

Did you ever read what law school Bachmann went to? Doesn't even exist any longer. She passed her bar exam by using the Evelyn Woods Sped Redding Fer Lawyurs...
She was governor of Alaska. Enough said. When you only have nightfall for half the year, what do you think that does to your brain? With the tax revenues generate by oil in that state, een you could be a successful governor. Mayor of Wasilla? Now there's a major metropolis if I ever saw one. You have 90 year old grandma's and 18 year old kids who've been mayor's of towns that size. What does that tell you?

Margaret Thatcher, Ann Richards (former governor of Texas. A REAL governor), Barbara Jordan. Those were leaders. Bachmann and Palin just pretend to be one.
The basis behind spending? How about cutting The Big 3 - Medicare, SS, and Military. ESPECIALLY the military. You could cut close to $450 billion by cutting military pensions and paying for the miltary's version of Medicare - TRICARE. Republicans think they can lop off $4 trillion in a week, and the economy will bounce back in a month. They'll keep tax abatements for big businesses that have the majority of their manufacturing facilities overseas. Bush Tax Cuts haven't worked, period. They were suppose to infuse jobs by keeping money in the pockets of the rich, but the rich just took that money and bought themselves bigger houses, faster cars, and 'corporate' jets to fly them to their vacation homes in Europe.
Show me links of these 'jobs' bills. If they were such great bills, why weren't they passed by the Senate? Oh that's right, the Democratic-led Senate won't pass anything from those stinkin' House Republicans, no matter how sensible it sounds.
Doesn't seem like faith is doing us much good right now does it. Looks to me it's guiding us into a bottomless pit..

Granted I haven't read extensively on this, but near as I can tell, it doesntg prevent the sale.....nor limit it. Just flags it and reports it. I may be wrong on this. But if my understanding is correct, it really isn't a big deal.

Hmmm. So she went to a cruddy college and still passed the BAR exam which is administered by the state, not the school. Seems to me that would be a sign of a highly intelligent person if they can pass the bar after attending a bad school. if it was indeed bad.
Palin earned over 20 million last year. Wish I could be dumb like that. Of course you are so smart you live in a rat nest of an area according to your descriptions of it.

Been following for some time.... even chuckled a few times until your statement about the military pensions....... much like this thread, it's a choice. The people that "serve" in this military do it for 2 reasons, well 2 that actually count. One, it's a job and yes with benefits. Benefits that take care of there families. Benefits that pays for the men and women that stepped up to the plate and went overseas for whatever reason and got either killed or wounded to where they need these benefits to help pay the bills like most of us have. The same benefits that pay the retired military service members. These military deserve these benefits as do their families. And trust me when I say this..... I would rather pay their taxes rather the medicare tax. which "happily" pays every bodies health care bill...... even the illegal population, (different topic).
The other reason is DUTY, they feel it is their duty to serve this country, so people like the ones in this thread can talk about Michelle, Obama and crap. Don't get me wrong please, the individuals in this thread all bring up very good points nonetheless, It was and is my "opinion" (because I have EARNED that right) that the military needs to stay out of the mouths of the ignorant.

Kiefers is a lib, he was the first in this thread to jump to the military benefits defense. I would bet most lib/democrats are against cutting military benefits and pensions.

Have you seen what kind of pensions these retired military people get? They get a guaranteed COLA, and ridiculous amounts of pay. I know a Colonel who just retired after 33 years of service. His annual pensions BEFORE taxes is over $100K. After 20 years of that pension, he will have collected $2.7 MILLION after COLA adjustments. That's without even investing the money. How many garbage collectors or teachers with that many years of service would you see get that kind of money?

no offence to the officers in the military, But I am more referring to the ENLISTED personel, you know, the ones doing the grunt work.
