I thought about blending one up and pouring it into my frag tank... The only reason I didnt is because if you take two mushrooms of identical proportions, blend one and then subdivide one, I would tend to think that the regeneration time for tissue would be higher for those with mouthparts intact. I think most would agree. Taking that into consideration, your larger pieces will heal up faster and will be able to frag sooner and yeild more mushrooms in the longrun. Sure, if all of your blended pieces were viable you would have a ton of mushrooms, but the time it would take them to get to a blendable size again would be tremendously longer than straight fragging it. I dont know if I made much sense here but I guess what I'm trying to say is that if the long term goal is quantity and viability of frags - then I would just frag them normally.
Dont get me wrong, I love this thread... RZ has taught me a ton about fragging (probably 90% of what I know
) with all of his informative threads, but I think the purpose of this thread is just to see if it is possible, not to discover a revolutionary mushroom propogation process. And thats why more people arent doing it...
