that is my melanoid axolotl! His name is venom. Named by a friend. I have 4. Ill get a link to their album on my photobucket up.

yeah.. I've been lurking and posting when i know something about a topic. I'm still learning too so I dont like to post about things I have no clue about. I'm anxious to see water and rocks and stuff!

Not many have. Theyre a fully aquatic coldwater salamander. They prefer it dark and with temps of 65-68F. They havent had a light on their tank for 3 months in order for them to like it and for it to stay cool. Theyre in a 55gal now. Look much older now!

Not many have. Theyre a fully aquatic coldwater salamander. They prefer it dark and with temps of 65-68F. They havent had a light on their tank for 3 months in order for them to like it and for it to stay cool. Theyre in a 55gal now. Look much older now!
