Wow! I have tons of them! I didnt' realize what they were and I was thinking that maybe I needed a marine exterminator! At night they over run the place!
Thanks guys! Yeah it's a Fire shrimp. Those are the whole reason I wanted a saltwater tank in the first place! This tank is really shaping up so far. I do need some different colors though.

Ok guys! I got some new frags today, but I dont have any pics until they open up tomorow. But the big news is I got them for FREE!! Yes, that's what I said, MORE FREE FRAGS! I'm the luckiest girl ever! I'll be posting pics tomorow and hopefully you guys will be able to help me with some ID's on some of them.
Be sure to tune in for lots of pics!

On a very sad note: I had to put my dog (i had her for 15 yrs) to sleep today. She had cancer, cateracks(spelling), couldn't hear, and arthritis. It was very difficult to do, but it was the best thing I could do for her.
After saying something like that I think I am obligated to show you guys some pictures of my new frags! Remember I need help on some ID's here.
I got three of the orange ones b/c they stuck themselves on the guy's egg crate, and the green ones I got 7 polyps total, but the stupid snail decided to brush up against them right before I took the pic.

It was alot harder than I thought it would be. But I knew what had to happen and what was best for her. Thankyou for your concern.

Awww...I'm so srry to hear about your dog. I work at our local shelter/vet clinic (they're attached) and every time someone brings in an old animal for that purpose my co-workers have to haul me in the room so I can cry with the owners, cause I can't help it even if I didn't see the animal.. Big baby, but anyways...
Your light fixture scares the hell out of me.
' I would second the egg crate, but maybe cutt off the front of it, then re-attach it with some hinges that you can buy from Home Depot or Lowes. Then you can open it up to get your hand/whatever else need be in there. Thats pretty cheap I think, and will save your fish and frags from an unexpected electrical storm. =)

These are the new mushrooms a fellow reefer gave me. i love free stuff! I dont know what kind or what they are called or anything. I just thought they are pretty

My group is the DallasMAS. I know there are MAS (marine aquarium Society) groups all over the country. You should do a google search and see if there are any in your area. I didnt' know anything about it until a guy at my LFS mentioned it to me. Saves me tons of money!

speaking of saving money....
I have two new additions to this tank and one for my 90 (that's another thread). I got these for free today from a guy who apparently couldn't sell them fast enough for $10 and just wanted them out of his tank.
One is (i think) Purple digi (that's what he called it)
the other is a blue polyp birdsnest
I have only just put them in so they aren't fully extended and my pictures suck today for some reason. But I hope you will enjoy them anyway.
FTS to follow some time soon. I fed my bubble coral a very large meal and it's all sucked in trying to digest. I want to wait until the star of my nano is fully open before I take and pics.
