CUT THE PAD Now that you have folded over the pad that area is causing an even slower flow through causing the level to rise in the holding tray OH did I for get to say CUT THE PAD
Have to run out to get some things for my filet of agitator bites, seafood tonight sorry but true.

You want to make sure you are not getting to much impedance with the new filter pad it is one of the reasons I personally don’t like them. You are just going to have to keep an eye on them as they get impacted you are going to get more water in your tray as I said it its just a trial and error thing I would put a towel on the floor at the spot the spill over may occur untill you know the cleaning time frame

Here's the good thing...even if the tray overflows, it is 2" from the top...so the worst that can happen is it flows into the refuge part....

Well L, I don’t know what the weather is like where you are. But its 77 and sunny here a beutifull day to take a quick boat rides around the bay. I will get back at you when I get back and have had my fill of alligator bits, mussels and deep fried okra

Mussels are cooked in a cast iron frying pan with white wine shallots and garlic. The gator is coated with emeralds essence and garlic powder. Left that way for an hour, then marinated in hot sauce and Zaterans. Old bay seasoning for a half hour. Then dredged in corn muffin mix and deep-fried. Since you asked. Now what is the problem?
