I don't think them taking the car is too big of deal? They confiscated Edwards' car after the Michigan race (IIRC?) when the oil tank lid was missing and remember more. Probably want to see how the tilted wing affected performance.

Actually taking the car can sometimes be really bad. If this car is the one loved by the driver... fits him perfectly and handles like it should, the team does not have another similar car in their garage. For them it's back to the drawing board to mimic what they had in that confiscated car.

Also think of the $$$ they have in a car and engine. This is also not one of the super teams, so they may not have that many cars. If they have 10 cars, they just lost 10 percent of their cars.

Very true and the other 9 cars are specific to track that they have or haven't been on yet. I'm trying to remember how many different types of setups for example RBRT has. They do have the backup cars too, but they are hardly ever the same as the primary. After all, it's there *just in case*.

I'm so excited right now

Formula 1 driver David Coulthard is in Dover right now and you may know that he drives the Red Bull Formula 1 car. So he has been our teams guest since he landed in Dover yesterday. Guess who is getting a DC authographed hat (2 actually)

Hubby called this morning that he was holding them in his hairy little hands as we spoke. I told him that I'd love to have a pic of David with our guys, not sure if that's going to happen but i'm hoping :)

Spidey, that is cool! Not sure if hubby will appreciate you saying he has "hairly little hands" but as long as you get those hats, that is the important thing. I remember watching David race when.....well let's just say it was many years ago.
For the race today is it sad that I get happy when soomeone has problems and falls out of the race so I haven't picked the last place car?

I think this is going to get very interesting in the following weeks when the 9/9 races per driver are full and we are forced to use other drivers.

Hey speak for yourself! Some
of us still have plenty of races left.

BTW, the crash on lap 16 was probably the best one yet this year. What the heck was Hamlin doing? Day dreaming? Though Stewart's comment was absolutely hiliarous, "it's my fault, I let myself get within a lap and a half of Eillot Sadler."

Darn I am only 39 ahead of you!!! I guess my choosing Kasey Kahne instead of Martin Truex did not turn out like I had hoped.
The only thing that maked me geel better about that is seeing how JT made EVERY choice wrong.
