not sure what that was, but here we go
got the new skimmer in today
but there is no manual, just pic of the skimmer
all of the measurements are in "mm", after converting mm to inches the MAX water depth is 6" who outthere has a 6" deep sump. will not run in more than 6"
also the pump will come on about every 10th time you plug it in. i am not having fun at this point. will call the "supply house" and see what thay can do.
oh btw it fit in the sump just fine as far as the "footprint".

p.s. if i raise it up so it only sets in 6" of water i can not get the top off

YIKES.....I guess you didn't read where it said 6" for it to run in.....that is one reason I had to re-do my sump

even though I got an external pump, I had to lower the water a good 6" so it was under 6" for the water to enter from the skimmer

post some pics....I bet some people here can help you work around this

YES, the water level on the skimmer side was like 14".....we had to drill into the side of the sump and run a tube from the Hurricone into the sump.....it had to be level, which meant the water level had to go down to 8" for that to work....so I had to make a few changes to accommodate it

see the gray pipe from the skimmer to the sump....the water use to be at the top of that section.....we had to lower it to under that gray pipe

ok i got it you skimmer, as you said, is setting on the floor of the stand and not on something to raise it up of the side of the sump, that make sense.

ok check this out if i raise it up to 6" that will give me 22.75" to the top of the bottom of the stand, the skimmer is 21.5" tall the top will not come off
but i thank i can take the cup off because the gasket is ONLY .5" this may work afterall.

so the next step can i put house bricks in a saltwater tank
