Picture update:
This pavalon is over 12 inches tall, I think it's 14 inches. I just realized how big my little horses are now.

LOL...Thanks everyone, you make me feel so proud. I never thought I could keep seahorses. Lights are out now, so tomorrow I will post a FTS, I have quite a bit of that red macro all over everything, I also have some Botryocladia (red bubble) that is taking shape. The horses love the turtle grass looking caulerpa.

Okay...FTS
It really doesn't look any different but here you go. I removed the plastic plants, and there is lots of young macro growth. Most of the red sampler pack got pushed to the back by the power heads, the horses hitch back there on it at night so I left it alone. They spend most of their time on the pavalon and in the caulerpa up front for me to watch them.

The bubbles and pumps are off (feeding time)...I feed the horses on the pavalon now, they are so big they can't fit around the little dish up top and send food everywhere...I also have diatoms on the top rocks closest to the light, I put a power head up there so we will see if that makes a difference. I need something else in the tank to help clean food up that the horses waste. I already have a bunch of snails (65 different types)

One of my favorite thing about this tank is how Flower took the artificial ornaments and made them look like they were always there.

Thanks traveler,
Tank ornaments, just like the dry rocks...seed and become part of everything covered in coraline eventually, and it looks like it always belonged there. After the hair algae disaster in the 30g, I wanted to keep things simple and easy to clean up should the need arise. SHs are very messy eaters and it's near impossible to not have extra nutrients in the tank. Using columns was a joint idea from suggestions from the good folks on this site, so I can't claim it was my personal design.
Even down to getting my horses from a local breeder called Peka seahorses. Thanks to all my SW cyber friends I have seahorses...I couldn't be happier. Of all the fish I have ever kept, these have brought me the most joy.

The home raised seahorses that eat frozen food is as easy to care for as any other SW fish. They need a cooler tank (72-76) and you have to be careful of what critters they can dwell safely with...we even have a safe fish list...LOL...the SG and all the other parameters need to be the same as the other tanks. They come to the feeding dish like puppies, and are so cool to watch with each other. If you LOVE them...get you some. I have had fish for many years, and I have enjoyed my seahorses hands down more than them all combined.

UPDATE: Pictures
I just ordered another CPR in tank refugium. I gave my last one away

I am going to place it on that shelf at the top of the large columns. I can't seem to get copepods or amphipods to breed in the little rock formation I made up there so I'm going to create a haven for the little buggers. I still dream of a mandarin some day. I do have some amphipods lower in the tank, the seahorses are very good little hunters.
The hard crusty red alge grew into Jelly like petals...it looks like roses to me. The anchor is just crusty but the maco itself is awesome. Some are red bubble algae (Botryocladia) that survived from my other 30g tank.
Please excuse the detritis...my horses are so messy and I have no helper fish to keep things clear in there. I have tons of flow but still I have "dust" on everything. However the red petals is what I'm trying to show you.

I love that algae! Thanks for the photos, everything looks great in there!
Do you have room for a HOB fuge? THere are CPR knockoffs that are much more reasonable in price.....

I did a little reading up and the HOB fuges can overflow if you don't make siphon breaks in the tubes. There is also the extra weight since it would have to hang on the side not the back where the CPR overflow already is. This tank is tall, so 30 inches is all I have and the overflow in the back takes up half the space.
Soooo...I opted for putting an in the tank fuge on the shelf....I want some pods, and the horses won't give them a chance. , they gobble up the ones I try and seed the tank with...3Xs now.
The tank isn't as healthy as I would like...the detritis is everywhere, and I have some dinoflagellates in places up top by the light all over the power head and the upper rocks. The parameters read pretty good, I have a phosphate reactor running, and the Aquaripure filter. I'm blaming the horses for being messy eatters. I do need to get some compatable fish to help eat the leftovers. The maco algae is doing great, the red rose stuff, the caulerpa turtle grass looking stuff, and the Botryocladia way in the back...all very healthy. The problem areas are all up high in the tank, closest to the light.
I have a ton of snails in there.

Another update:
I got my CPR in the tank refugium in today...I ordered it yesterday. Shocked, I looked on the shipping tracker, the store is right here next to my own home town, (label said it originated in Gurnee) I could have saved shipping by just going to pick it up.

Anyway, I have it installed, and I took some sand from the 90gs refugium and put the rock that was on the shelf into it. It fit like it was made for it, so I won't have to worry about the suction cups holding at all. The perfect height, 1/8th of the rim is out of the water at the top of the tank. When I get my check on the first, I plan to get some fish and coral for the 90g, I will order some pods to seed the fuge then. It's such a tiny fuge...I'm not sure if I should bother with getting any macro for it.

Hmm. My browser must not be working...I don't see any new pics.

I'd still get a little chaeto to stuff in there. Just MHO, tho.

I hear ya there. Same reason I couldn't put a HOB fuge on my horse tank. And really no room to put a true sump/fuge underneath, either. Unless I went for a bigger tank.
Last night I "casually" mentioned how much cooler a 54g corner bowfront would look in the corner of the bedroom for a seahorse tank. She gave me a VERY flat stare.....I don't think I'm going to get anywhere with that argument.

LOL...if you promise to not make fun of my dusty fuzzy grey rocks...I will post a FTS...I have some dinofagellites on the SH feeding tower, it's a mess, and on the input of the chiller hoses and pump. I plan to get in there and clean it up this weekend. There is plenty of water flow because it wiggles in the current, but the nutrients dumped by messy eaters keep it going. The macro algae couldn't be happier.
Here ya go...
