Hey Flower, here's a column deal that I used to use in one of my f/w tanks. I found it at petsmart. 12" high x 9.5" wide. Nearly the size of a 5g bucket.

Teresa, I have heard of a 55g but never a 56 long...they have so many tank sizes.
2Quills, that piece is awesome, I havent found anything that tall except a Little Mermaid Ornament. Which I think is very pretty....
The grandkids would love it. Did you say USED to use?...Do you still have it, and do you want to sell it?

Yeah I still have it. I snapped that pic last night so you could see it. It's been pact up in a box for the last 2 years. Whatever it would cost to ship you can have it if you want. It's got a few scratches around the side of the base where some of the color has rubbed off but nothing major. If not I'll pm you the link for it from petsmart.

THIS is the kind of thing that makes this site great. Long-distance friends willing to help out for no other reason than....."just because." Karma to 2Quills.

Oh and BTW this pice looks great. Can't wait to see how this comes out!

I added some columns (I drilled holes so they don't float) for the back ground, I want some sort of ledge for the top...Gemmy is ending some dry rock, and with the piece 2Quills is sending I should be able to finsh the aquascape...I tossed some plastic plants in, to give good bacteria something to attach to for now...I haven't set the plants in place just kind of floating right now...so it's a work in progress...These columns are 1 inch taller (13 inches) than what 2Quills is sending so they should look good together. The long black bar is a spray bar from the canister filter, that's temporary until I have the sump set up, and the mesh attached to the intake has shrimp in it, the tank is still going through first cycle..

Looks cool, Flower. I'll be sending the ornament out on Wednesday. Sorry for the wait. That's the soonest I can get over there.

Thank you...hey whenever it's convenient for you. It's a nice piece and with the bubble line as an added plus...I coulodn't be happier
Yes Traveler, that's live rock in the corner, those are really large pieces, the one branch piece is 25 inches long, I have it angled in there, it has some jutting pieces for the SHs to hitch to...gemmy has some dry rock in her closet she said she would send out, and some rubble rock for the sump as well, that will be a big help.
I want to find something to make a top ledge for the columns I have in there...I was thinking...maybe a decretive rock made of concrete from home depot...would that be alright in a SW tank?

Here is a picture of the new feeding dish plan....it will go as high as midway in the tank, and the little horses will make great hitches while they eat. I have to find my silicone...and then it must dry before I put it in the tank. It's just sitting on the column for now while I took the picture, I think it's a grand idea..

Picture of the tank in progress, with the feeding dish in place. I had to silicone the piece in such a way that it allowed the drilled hole to let some water in. So I left the tiniest gap for that...but you can't tell and I'm real happy with it. Again ignore the canister tubes, they are temporary until the sump is ready, The back columns are not in place until I get the other columns from 2Quills, and the dry rock from Gemmy...then I will re-arrange everything and start on the sump. I really can't do anything with the sump until I remove my return pump and overflow from the 30g and I can't really do that until it is cycled and ready for the horses, so there is no hurry.
I hope I'm not boring you guys too much.
