Have your Frozopods arrived yet?

LOL..Frozopods!.... To my delighted amazement..YES. All alive and healthy, on a Saturday yet. The heat pad was cold but the critters were fine inside. Nothing was frozen, the turtle grass looks good, nice roots.
I planted them in the sand but the bio stuff which was ordered first along with the lights isn't here yet. Any ideas if I should do anything else to keep them going until the bio stuff comes? Do you think the grass can be fine without any kind of food for a few days?
Live bacteria is all this tank has in it, except baby pods now. I watched as the little guys swam to the rock wall and made it a home. I released the other bag of tiny bug tots in the refugium.
I wasn't expecting them until Monday all dead.

MY back has been totally out and today is the first day I could actuallly sit up for more than 10 minutes. I have been off work since last Sunday. Doctor said I can't do anyting until Friday AFTER I see my regular doctor.
Gemmy that looks awesome, I have already ordered the shell, until I'm sure I'm satisfied with it..PLEASE hold on to where you got that pic from.
I could not take pictures before, I can't get copepods or amphipods..my camera won't take a picture of something that tiny. The shell has not yet arrived.
The new lights arrived an hour ago. I had to unpack it and get the bulbs in and the legs on...Not a small thing when you can't do almost anything. I cheated and put the lights on and didn't ask my mom to help. She has been trying to take care of me (cooking each and every meal, getting me water for pain pills and such) today is the first day I can do more than turn over in bed, and I think she is is in pain now.
Anyway I have not aquascaped and the panel I plan to put on the bottom to hide the sump is not yet cut to size. The turtle grass has good healthy roots but they are mostly brown..they are good and stiff so I think they are okay. I would think they turn mushy if they were dying. Correct me if I'm wrong.
The tank looks 100% better with the new lights.

I'm still waiting on the moonlights. But the were the last thing ordered. I am going to wait for a nice sunny no snow week before I even think about ordering the horses.

Yes it does look great. I finally got the chance to set down and go through some of the threads this morning and this was one I was intent to read. I love that background wall. You did a terrific job with that. Im not artistic in any way and there is no way I could of managed to make it look anywhere close to that good. Major kudos for the great job. Its coming along nicely =). Baby mandarins are starting to eat frozen now. Pretty excited about that. Not too excited that mom and pop mandarin just laid another 100 or so eggs this last weekend. I think im going to seperate them for a few months. Too many babies for me. Shouldn't be long now until they are ready to move out into the world. Give it a month max just to fine tune everything and make sure they are all eating properly and to filter out any with non-sought after traits. Should be about just right. Ill post some pics when they get a bit older. They have their colors but they still aren't as bright as they will be as an adult. Truly sorry for the back problems. Hope you get better soon because I know your excited to get the tank completed.
Off to go shopping now =(. Why must I endure such hardship. Roads are covered with snow and she wants to shop. I get to be grandpa today and set on the little benches and nap. + I have to work graveyard tonight at walgreens; again.

Flower - sorry to hear about your back, your horse tank looks fantastic - I like the lights have the same ones. When you need to change your lights in a year or so consider the ATI super purple - I love the colors it gives, my favorite viewing is from 9 pm to 11 when only one set is one with a blue actinic and super purple. great job you - now get that back feeling better.

I just added the bio sediment..very foggy looking tank at the moment. I was planning to attach the sponge and kenya trees to the back wall higher up, about midway. I know the turtle grass will grow taller over time. ...I don't have anymore rock...(I hate getting new rock). My boss says he has some but hasn't brought it in yet.
I was planning to make a center piece with the feeding dish with fake plants as hitches. I can also add some extra fake plants until the turtle grass matures...what do you think? I could add some tall ones that go all the way to the top of the tank on each end

Flower, your tank is coming along great.
I think it would be neat to have the feeding dish as the focal point with hitches for the horses. I will remember exactly where I got that pic from (I work at the place that sells them
).

Well my little shell is just that, a little shell. The ad said 3 x3 but I think it was 3 X3 before they shaped it with a curve, its more like 2X2. Its very pretty but I don't know if 4 seahorses could gather all at once around it. How big is the leaf?

This is the measurements of it from the website: measures approximately 5"L x 3"W x 2"H. I can measure it when I go to work on Friday, and I will check to see if we have anything else that would work.

Thanks for checking.
Phooy, I'm out of glue too, so I can't attach the coral or sponge. I can't drive on meds either. SIGH..it's a very long week indeed.

I went looking and I couldn't believe how much stuff is out there that would make really cool seahorse feeders.
There is a little fish shop my boss likes in Antioch with all kinds of used fish decor. When my back healsup, and I'm able to get out of the house...I plan to go there and get some fake stuff to fill the tank in and give the horses some good hitches, until my turtle grass grows out. I rearranged my stuff in the tank, I couldn't glue the coral and sponge like I wanted but it doesn't look too bad...here is a picture. I'm still waiting on my moonlights.
