No worries, no derailing occurred....it was an interesting discussion about each others' wrasses. Enlightening, I must say.
I've had a hell of a time these past couple days. In 4 days, I've lost EVERY fish in QT tanks. The "mystery fish" I was hinting about was a Potter's Angel, who was in the 12g tank. He developed and died from a bacterial flesh erosion disease. A day later, there was a small lesion on the leopard wrasse in the other tank. I had been extremely careful not to contaminate one tank with utensils from another, but it was a similar contagion. I started a Furan II treatment, but he too was dead in 24 hours. FInally the McCosker's (who was sharing that QT if you recall) died last night.
I'm so burned out right now it's not funny. All the QT tanks are torn down. I'll restart the 20 sometime soon, but right now....I have 5 fish in the display, and maybe I just keep it that way for a while. Frack it.

wow.... holy crap Rick.... I'm so sorry to hear this... sigh... it's so terrible... T_T I'm really sorry... I know how much you loved your wrasses... dang what the heck....

Yeah, thanks all. I'm taking a little break from the forums for a couple days, clear my head, get some holiday cleaning done. That sort of thing. I'll be back soon. Richard I'm still breaking out the Chili pot on Thursday! Lol....man's gotta eat. Text me what time u want to come over...

It sucks.... I have 4 fish that I have kn my friend's 55qt... only see 2... im hoping that they are not dead... sigh...

Wow. I have a family-free weekend, the house is clean, the tank is in decent shape (thanks in no small part to a few kind additions by Siptang last night!), and the only "project" I need to complete this weekend is a fresh coat of paint on the entryway walls. I think it's time to go LFS-hopping to see what fish are in stock!
These past couple weeks have been a whirlwind of baseboard installation, chair rails, cooking, pre-cleaning* before the cleaners came, and holiday decorating. Looking forward to a quiet weekend. I'll try and post some shots of the tank this weekend also!

LOL! Eh, It's comprehensive finals this week. I either know it or I don't. I'm reviewing some information as necessary but I have all A's so far, and probably will be on the Presidents list... so pretty much if I fail all of my finals, I will still make the Deans list. LOL.

I'm reviewing some information as necessary but I have all A's so far, and probably will be on the Presidents list... so pretty much if I fail all of my finals, I will still make the Deans list. LOL.
