SO. Thinking about a red Goniopora for the bottom left of the tank. I'll need to find an ORA cultured specimen, and preferably a full colony. What do you think?
I know that they do well in SPS tanks (ORA grows theirs in the same growout tanks as some of their SPS) but I may need to up my carbon for any potential allelopathy between it and the favites (which is near to this spot).
OH, and a funny update. Apparently the Tiger Goby is one of those fish that likes to dive completely under the sand and even "swim" under the sandbed. I didn't see THAT behaviour in the guides. Just what I wanted. Another disappearing fish.

OK. Vanna White I am not.. I think I was trying for a goofy grin, but it looks more scary than goofy to me in retrospect.

In the bag. Pre-dip.

Coral dipped, acclimated, and in the tank:

Under a bit more blue lighting:

A very small piece of it broke off in transit, so I superglued it off to another rock.

I don't know if this is going to be the final placement, but it will do for tonight. Now.....anyone care to help me identify this acro?

Fed the tube 'nem directly for the first time last night. Very good feeding response on that bugger! I'm at work right now, trying to slog through a few more hours before I get to go home and check out the new Acro addition.

Miami museum of Science was opened to us for our meeting and we had a big frag drive for them (have been partners with them for yrs apparently). Discussed the future of high power LED for commercial and hopefully soon for residential uses. Found out a new prototype of salt that was specifically made by this museum. (pretty bad arse if i say so myself) little over 500 calcium at 1.024? 10dkh? yes, please.

Sting ray tank converted to 3000g pacific coral reef tank.

sea grass tank connected to main dt for other option of filteration and as food for some fish and inverts.

Sea horse tank. you bet Rick was all over that.

Rick heading back into the equipment room.

1g tank for file fish babies? wow.

3000 gals.

Majority of frags came from us reefers. (I'm happy to report I did my share as well)
