My $29.99 Acro from my LFS. They like me there...and I was just in the right place at the right time.

This is down near the bottom of my tank right now as I light-acclimate it, but I'll be moving it to a mid-tank position this weekend. GOnna have to move my Blasto frag to do it.

Aw man... what has sip done to you? I didn't know you liked SPS so much. I guess after watching them grow for a while, you do get addicted. :D

There are a select few that I really love. But it wasn't Richard's fault. I won my first large piece in a raffle, and it was a slippery slope from there. I only have a few (one died in a heat-related bleaching event) but once I replace that one, I am DONE with Acros.
Really.

bwahahahaha done... right. *cough*
looking forward to more pics.
I've been a silent reader on your build thread for a few pages now. lol. Sorry about that. I'll try to chime in a bit more... since there's only like four of us on here actually talking regularly anymore.

LOL No worries. I'm a habitual lurker on your thread as well....in fact more often than not I'm just lurking around. You know I use this as much for my own "online journal" as I do for everything else. It's nice to go back, look and see what I did right, and what I did wrong.
I'm just glad others like to tag along, read my rambling posts, and comment/help/make fun of the tank and its owner!

I lurk M-F 8:30 am thru 5:00 pm.
Don't tell my boss. LOL.
I should start commenting more though. I don't like when it gets this slow around here.

Had a GREAT weekend with some old friends. Sent Ursula home with a care package, including a couple zoa frags, a plug of mushrooms, a beautiful Hollywood Stunner chalice, and a piece of my orange birdsnest. Thanks to Siptang for providing the zoas and the shrooms (these were leftovers from the ones you sent us!). I'm sure they're going to love the new additions to their tank.
On a COMPLETELY unrelated note. I need to contact the local police. Someone went and drank all my wine last night. How dare they. I'm sure it wasn't me, I don't remember a thing.

New Stuffs!
This is the one I'm a little disappointed with. It's called a Cosmic Kiss. It's not bad, really, but the price was a bit much for what I actually received (my opinion only). But before I go spouting off, I'm going to give this a couple days to open fully and completely color up. Day one is always a little rough for zoas.

A picture for Meowzer. Live mysis scurrying around the tank. Not many of them, but enough I think for a breeding population. Kinda cool.

Not sure I posted this shot:

This is starting to get better now that I've moved it around.

For your viewing pleasure (sort of...), four and one half minutes of bad video! One long (sometimes shaky) single take of the entire tank.

I'm on ultra conservative mode these days. I have been very lucky to generous reefers that gave me a frag or two. Bill came for 2 lab tests and 2 ultra sound.. 1100... got to be kidding me. :banghead:
I look forward to see these babies when I visit you on Tuesday. Oh I got little something for you and michelle. You will see it when I get there lol.
sent from under the sea using my awesome galaxy note 2.

We'll trade, I have a very small care package for you guys. One thing you know about, one that you don't. Mainly because the thing you don't know about......MIGHT not be ready in time. But I think it will.
I woke up this morning to discover that Mayhem must have visited my tank overnight. My first SPS, the "plain Jane" blueish-brown pocillopora, had been knocked down by a marauding snail and was on the sandbed. My red birdsnest (bought as a Poci, but there's NO WAY it is) had also been knocked, but hadn't fallen. It was just leaning against the green polyp bird. Finally, I noticed there was a big tuft of algae on my green Bird-Of-Paradise....don't know how I missed that....but I decided to get hands wet and fix all the problems. Everything's back to normal this afternoon!
On another note, I attempted my first acro frag today. Cross your fingers....really hope it does well!!!
