I'm failing to see your point. Is this any different than a person's priest/pastor/etc telling them to vote for a republican for no other reason than they are pro-life? I highly doubt most of the religious right knows the answers to these questions:
http://www.myfoxkc.com/myfox/pages/N...=3.14.1&sflg=1
Those of us that argue politics know that a vast majority of the population is uninformed and don't care. It is up to the candidates to reach out and get these people. Plus, its funny that Fox put out a survey (the one you posted) that said the media didn't do its job. Hannity, Limbaugh, etc were spewing out the hate that you guys then posted here. How did they NOT do their job?? Or are you saying that everyone watches MSNBC?

You really should listen to limbaugh before you call what he says hate.
Because that is his argument.

Nothing gets me more ticked off than listening to this guy for 30 minutes. When I used to work 2nd shift full time, his show was my alarm clock.
Yes I know that is what he has said. If I never watched/listened to these idiots, I wouldn't post anything about them as how would I actually know. I'm sure Keith Oberman (or however you spell it) is as stupid, but I never watch his show so I can't say.

I should add that I believe an argument formed from just one sided opinions is not an informed argument at all, which is why I watch these things. The best way to learn is to listen to opposing arguments, right? This is also why I like to debate with all of you.

lol, that is half the fun of his show. He quite effectively illustrates the absurdity of liberalism.

Well, I would disagree with a blanket statement about liberalism, but definitely parts. Parts of conservatism has its own absurdity.

Limbaugh is very entertaining if you take it for what it is, entertainment.
He actually does put out some useful information but there are a lot better places to get it from. I still listen to him if I am driving while the show is on.
A classic gem from the Limbaugh show used as the lead in during the government shut down of 95
"If they are non essential what are they doing there in the first place?"
Played in response to the announcement the government had furloughed all but essential federal employees.

You didn't know this... See, that is why I have such a difficult time with many of the Obama fans here. I know more about the candidate you supported than you do. That is not a good thing. When your candidate says, in the Democratic debate, that he reserved the right to send troops back to Iraq if Al Qaeda was ever forming a base here you really should know that.
You joke about us calling Obama's policies socialist; I ask you, do you really know what his positions are?
Hello my friend...
I see you are still tying to educate those that are lost in the Nobama zone of science fiction.
many are simply politically ignorant to facts...still hung up in the Mr Hope and Change mantra.
I see the inexpereinced president elect is bringing it yet more of those typical politicians he claimed not to be. Not the change I heard him chanting as a candidate.
He will anger his far left buddies...and the haters that hang on that side of the spectrum will turn on the "chosen one" should he not deliver the cut-run-surrender, redistirbution of wealth/socialism, universal/socialized medicine, etc, etc, etc.
Keep up the good work and be safe.

Most far left/right positions could be defined as extreme or even absurd. The facts on Nobama's record/history place him on the far left. His mantra you may feel places him closer to the center....but his record is otherwise.
Oh that's right...we are to ignore his actual actions, record and associations and simply listen to the mantra....that would fit the definiton of absurd.
I recall his favorite uncle Miltie Rev Wright statng he would be coming for him once he was elected. I guess Uncle Miltie has his Mercedes gassed up and is headed to DC.

Hmm....somebody claimed Limbaugh is hate? Interesting if a liberal would call some talk show host a hater....hell, even if I agreed it's a talk show.
Now...let's look at Nobamas spiritual mentor of 20 years...that would fit the definition of hate...and peddling it from the pulpit....SHAMEFUL
Oh sorry, I forgot the intelligent one did not realize his pastor was peddling hate for 20 years. It took the airing of the hate rallies on the news before he would come out of the shadows of the pew. And it was only after his favorite uncle called him a "typical politician".
Hmmm...he couldn't figure this out or like Sgt Schultz "new nothing" for 20 years...yet his supporters believe he can solve problems as president? Go figger.

I watched that the other day. I do not believe that represents a large portion of the NObama supporters. I do not beleive it is the majority but it is a significant portion. Many simply would not vote for a Republican and would probably vote for the ACORN ticket of Donald Duck and Mickey Mouse instead. So, they could care less regading the positions of the NObama ticket. They are uniformed political "zombies".
Again, they are simply following the change/hope mantra...never knowing that it is just a dog and pony show.

Only a MORON would make such a public statment ...even if he believed it...which he obviously does.
Thanks Joe.....we know we can count on you!

THat fits the definiton of true "tyranny". Pursuing agreements they KNEW would bankrupt the industry and destroy jobs, etc. Unions supported by liberals.....and look where it got the industry...in the toilet.

You people call yourselves historians, and you don't even remember a major event 8 years ago? What did I say that isn't factual? It was in all the papers and every national broadcast for two weeks after the election. Look it up. You seriously don't remember the 'hanging chad' debate? Guess this just validates how closed-minded the Republican zealots are. Anything that damages the credibility of your precious party are lies and deception. Anything stated against the Democratic Party is factual and true. You can't even remember a major event in our nation's history, and I have reefraff still thinking that our new president-elect is a socialist/marxist wannabe that's going to destroy his life. Hey, you don't like the guy? Move to Canada or Mexico. You've got the guy for 4 years. Deal with it. You people spout your patriotism for this country, yet you won't back the person who THE PEOPLE elected as your next president. Guess that's the difference between you and me. If McCain would've won, I'd still support him until he proved otherwise. You can't get over the fact you lost, and believe all the political trashing that went on during the campaign. McCain has even stated he's supporting the guy. Him and Obama are getting together today to discuss McCain's role in the new administration. Do this country a favor. Either support the person who was elected, or leave. It's that simple.
I will support NObama on positions that I think are good for the country. If I feel those postions are bad , I WILL NOT support him. Based on his platform, I beleifve mnay of his poitions are wrong.
I'm doing the country a favor by following what I beleive is best for the country.
Do YOURSELF a favor..and encouage ALL to do the same..to voice their opinions when they disagree...and voice support when they agree on issues...it's really THAT simple a concept..which may be above the congnitve skill of some.
many of us simply refuse to visit the Kool AId stand on positions we believe are harmful to the country.
So...it is your position if we do not support NObama on ALL issues we should leave? We no longer have a right to voice an opinion contrary to Oz? That we are no longer welcome in this counrty as Amreicans becuase we might have a different view?
Sorta sums up how the guy got elected if that is the typical mind set of the "flock".
Many of us disagree with most if not all of Nobama's stated postions. So..taking your position of "proving otherwise" he already has with his platform and the direction he wants to take the country.

Yeah thats the right wing response, but isn't it equally as true that they are being controlled by a nasty dictator called the greedy CEO??? Or the greedy BOD's?
While I agree that the unions aren't helping the situation, both unions and greed are the problems, not one exclusively. But apparently you are a right-wing, the market says the CEO should make that much republican....

I just saw a media report that said through all of these questions, the public scored a 49%, but elected officials only scored a 44%. And they also showed a completely different set of people than reefraff's group.
Believe the media, its good for you!
Which brings be back to an original point:

I know you are a smart guy and this isn't aimed at you stdreb, but anyone that relies totally on the main-stream media for their opinions has no business telling someone else they are stupid. This quote above should be obvious without anyone having to say it to us.

The thing it it wasn't just the interview, and I think you are missing the point. I don't think the main point of this was to say as a whole obama voters are stupid.
If you look at the statistics, they thought stuff tina fay said as a joke was true. They knew all the trumped up trash on Palin, McCains trash. But couldn't identify things Obama or McCain said. Clearly they are getting their news from SNL, and the 2nd rate obberman, and whoever the other dude is.
Look you can clearly massage anything you want out of the data, and samples ect. Zogby did the poll. So it is just as accurate as any of the other polls he's done. You know the ones you libs like to throw in our face when the media does the exact same thing pay zogby to do a poll that reflects positively on democrats. Just now you moan about it. When they interview the base of your party.
