My skimmer is going on the tank tonight!!!!!

Pics are going to come as soon as I get the lights on. I thought I would have the skimmer hooked up last night, but I need to take the lights off to get it on the tank. It's just easier to wait until I put the new lights on.

We'll see if the skimmer is functional. I still have my doubts. I should post pics of the box it came in. It was packed very poorly (del-tec did the sloppy job) and it looks like it was dropped hard. The lights aren't going on. I never received the cable.
Anyone know where I can get a t-joint cable?????????????

I must say the new issue with the shipping issue of the t- cable was my fault. I somehow left out my apt. number.

The lights are going on tonight and so is the skimmer. I must say I am disappointed in the lights.

I think I need one more unit for my tank.

There is way too much shadowing. Now, in the pic the lights are not up to the full running capacity. I will fiddle around with the settings.
Pros:

Cons:

Cheap mounting kit looks flimsy.
Price is not too bad, however I probably could have gotten 2 radions and had enough coverage vs the price of my total system.
My controller broke off its mount when I was programming it.

What reason is that??? One site I ordered from advised to go with 2 modules and another (more reputable site) said 3. I opted for 2 to start out. I still need to play with the optics and angles.

A little, but I gave up for the night. I am now having issues with the wireless signal from the controller to the modules. It keeps dropping it plus the modules aren't responding to the program I selected. I am about to give up. I'm going to contact Chris from Coral Vue and see what he says.

Important lesson of the day: be patient and the instructions that come with the equipment suck. The instructions left out important parts of the syncing process. I downloaded the copy off the website and my units work.
