Dude, go for the 75 if you can. A little more width would allow for a better aqua scape as well as a little more wiggle room for your fish.

Yeah Corey that is why I want to go with the 75 Gal tank.. Will the 300 GPH overflow still work for a 75 gal tank???

I totally agree. I am stuck with my 55 gallon and struggled to get a decent/functional aquascape. If I could do it all over, I would get the 75. Those 5 extra inches make a huge difference. You can PM Bang Guy and he can tell you the reasons why. Unfortunately, I did not take the width into consideration when I got my 55 (and I did not know this place existed).

Yeah I have read Bang Guy's post and reading more and more is why I think I have changed my mind about the 55 gal.. I only paid $55 for it at the store we love to hate (lol) so that is why I got it.. So now I don't think I would be happy with the 55 gal so that is why I am considering the 75 gal and Think I am going to go with that....

Haha, agreed Scott, I am already thinking of doing a 40 Breeder for my sump, the 20 Long looks like it's going to be a tight fit for everything, and I want a nice fuge in there.

That's like me and the skimmer, I was going to g with your suggestion of the Reef Octopus 4" needlewheel skimmer, then I was like wow, I really like the XP 1000sss, and it was set, my mind was changed, even though I will be forking over $300 for the skimmer alone lol.
