Only some fantasy hacks would make that selection..but nfl GM;s are concerned with the present and future..as opposed to somone that may simply be a flash in a season.
Again, show me anything on the field that backs up that Eli has a past, present or future worth wanting??? He has the name on the back of his jersey and thats close to it. He was a bust as a rookie, had a very good 1st 4 games last year then was HORRIBLE for the last 12! and has been at absolute best MARGINAL this year. Romo has played VERY well EVERY one of his starts. The Giants are still waiting for 4 straight good Eli starts.
GM's are wrong all the time by the way. Half were split on Peyton and thought he was the bust not Leaf. All GM's see is the Manning name and hope hes an MVP like his brother.
Romo is the better QB right now, no question. For that matter, from what weve seen lately from Eli, he also has a better future. When exactly is eli going to start being this great QB? Peyton was MVP caliber by his second year with a VERY comparable supporting cast to Eli. By his 3rd year, he was as good as any QB in the league, if not his 2nd year. Eli will never reach that status, no way.

They very well may. Its certainly close.
What would the standings be like if Romo came in 4 games sooner :notsure:

Ive never heard of TG close to being benched .... I have heard of Galloway almost being benched 4 times this year
when was galloway benched??? not this season... not to my knowledge...
emmitt i have yet to say that any of the clowboys suck... i really dont have a problem with em... you have your opinions i have mine...

There have been talks of JG being benched.... I never said anybody was the best because that is about as far from the truth as it comes.
I said Romo has taken a team that was done for and brought life to them.... He reminds me of Joe Montana early in his career..... what round was Good old Joe drafted ..... Just because somebody is a first rounder doesnt make them great,.... Take Kijauna Carter , Rasham Salam , Eric Rhett, Reggie Bush, Ryan Leaf for example all busts , or bust to be

Point is your comparing a player who played 13 games to a player who played 7 .... Its apples and oranges fella
813 in 7 games is pretty darn good , especially when it all came after an injury ..... Reggie Bush isnt going to do that in a full 1st year

doesnt burn me up... thats fantastic... but you werent the first to 4 or 5 and wont be the last... and right now in the NFC all teams still have a shot of getting into the playoffs... there will be a 9 - 7 team that makes it... who knows could be the Bucs... nor am i jealous of the cowboys... they will take anyone who wants to be a fan... i choose not to be a front runner still living on the fumes of the EARLY 90's...
dont forget the Conf. Championship games or the SB's the Cowboys lost... it is a feat to get there so dont overlook em...

I just realized why ruaround is so down on Romo. The Bucs wasted the #97 pick in the 03' draft on Simms when we got a better QB, the Romonator
, as a free agent that same year

Let me guess, right now, you wouldnt trade Simms for Romo? Right?
