Well for one I have NO idea how I got it like I did cause I had a rodi unit and no phos. All I did was pull as much out as often as I could and got ALOT of hermits and turbo snails and then once it was gone I returned what I did not need. I have almost no algae now. I get a little here and there but the clean up crew cleans it up.
I am going to clean the glass and take ALOT of pix tonight or tomorrow.

how did you get the sand out? siphon? scoop?
Did it seem to release anything? I would watch your levels closely.. could get a spike.

Syphon with a big water change and I took it all out over a few times. I never got a spike and all my rics and clams seem alot happier on the glass

I am not sure. He was in the 75 but he was a huge BULLY in there so I moved him to the 29 frag tank. He does not seem to mind the 29 as long as he has alot of hiding places

but ill i said i just started getting corals, rigght now i only have 2 a shroom rock and frog spawn but tomorrow i may be picking up a orange cap frag from my lfs if its still there
