What to do with 29G

It's coming together beautifully. It is a rarity that someone has to race the cycle to figure out what they want in their tank

I found out where I could get a 125 for FREE today and I decided to start a ray tank...then I remembered that I'm totally broke

Do you want corals (probably lol). Do you want to do an add as you go sort of tank or do you want it to be themed (like your seahorse tank?)

Seriously...a 125 will not be big enough for a ray...wait until you are older, and have a home of your own and can have a 250 or bigger.

It was a joke. Did I say 125? I meant 225. My dad's boss has a 125 that is stocked with freshwater and a 225 that he isn't doing anything with...I don't think I could afford to fill it with water...let alone put a ray in lol.
Where have a been? FRAG SWAP! Isn't that sad? The only excuse I have to not be on this website is that I'm doing something else saltwater related

And ironically I bought a duncan there
So definitely get that coral they are mega cool.

It's a lot like mine. You know octos have been called bakpaks on steroids
From what I've seen though, I don't really think there is much of a difference, they are sooo alike.
You're half way there. Figure out what fish you want because you have all the time you want before you start to heavily stock corals. Harlequin shrimp? Coral Banded Shrimp? Skunk Cleaner? What shrimps your fancy?

.....I do have a 55g that we are eventually going to fix the top brace on

Frogfish lol, I wouldn't have though that you would be the kind that would want one of those. I've always liked porcelain crabs, what do you think of them? There was a guy today selling a sally light foot crab for 5 bucks.
My duncan has yet to see my lighting...so if it opens tomorrow, I'll snap a pic. I got it for 5 bucks a head...and got 7 heads.
What other fish? Picassos? RG? Firefish? Jawfish? Yellow Coris Wrasse? All the cool fish are jumpers unfortunately.

Did you see the clingfish? That's pretty neat...I'm also thinking of Henry's acrylic idea...maybe getting a piece, and drilling holes..then I can get that yellow head jawfish....I have firefish, a 29g is soooo limiting....Since my light came I have eggcrate on top...so jawfish won't work....i love the flasher wrasse, had one..it jumped thru the eggcrate...too expensive to chance again...so here I am....

Yeah, I have never seen a clingfish in real life. They are cool though. Candy Basslets are awesome too...but I don't think getting one is worth the $$$ at all. I just have 2 ocellaris clowns and an orange spotted goby. I don't care too much about the fish part...which confuses the crap out of people when I tell them I like aquariums

SEE....that's the differenc...I WANT IT ALL....that's why I am setting up another tank...and probably will do another one in the future...I MUST BE FREAKIN CRAZY

It could be worse. There are some people out there that never discover aquariums and simply keep thousands of cats. We call these people crazy cat ladies.

I HATE TO SAY THIS...but I agree about that...that's why I have 2 indoor cats....I will not have more cause it's not fair to the 2 I have. 2 sharing a litter box is enough.....
