Very nice PEZ.....Do they have to be specially fed?.....
I don't think so. They will benefit from feedings but I think they will be fine with just light. I've seen them be fed and it is ridiculously awesome. So I'll feed them. Just a cube of mysis will make them happy.

It eats my snails...
Stupid shrimp

Plus it's huge and creates some relatively disgusting molts that jams up my pumps very nicely. And I NEVER see it either...worthless. I didn't use to mind it, but now that I want a skunk, I decided to hate it

Still havn't caught it?!?!

...They are on the web though...I just looked one up and it is like $200

You have a source? Corals are drugs, yet we treat them like they are. Maybe that's why we're called reefers.

I know I am constantly thinking about what I can put in the tank next....

G is an Anemone Shrimp.
And what's wrong w/ Harlequins anyway?

You feed inverts to your corals, no? I'd argue that frozen mysis and pods are both more intelligent than starfish.

Can something that is dead have any type of intelligence

lol - the question is, w/ no brain or central nervous system, how smart could a starfish possibly be?
Some of them are pretty, but they're no more sentient than a dandelion.

I's just giving you a hard time 'cuz I have a Harlequin. Mine's a lot more blue than the pic though.

True...but the expense is what gets me. Yeah, I don't care about killing things like that. Besides the shrimp basically frags the starfish...and I frag corals so what's the difference.

Hey, Meo is this what you were talking about? https://www.saltwaterfish.com/site_11...ot_parent_id=4 I need to clean my pm box, so I just put it here

Not that pricey. I chuck a chocolate chip in the tank every 6-8 weeks.
Sorry Meowzer,
not tryinta hijack your thread - I know you're a stickler about things like that.

Debatably yes. Using dyes supposedly shortens the lifespan or some crap like that
I have heard that the color will eventually fade too. I don't know though, It seems like when it grows, it wouldn't have that color. I was confused when you said yellow leather.

Well like I said Inever noticed the colored part...so cross that off my list...BUT Surely there is a leather that looks like that (carpetlike) but in a natural color....I'll look some more

Something had to be dyed in the first place.
