WELL...I think I changed my mind on the Clingfish...SWF can't get it for one...BUT I did a little more research and they seem to have feeding issues

I really do not want anything with "issues"

why not add a pair of banggai and a jaw fish. That would be nice with shrimp and corals

I would get a pair of clowns...something special, like

[hr]
or picasso, or b&w. Although Bang Guys would really help balance a tank with a lot of colorful corals.

I was thinking jawfish, but they are big jumpers....right now I have eggcrate on the top....I MIGHT...but a piece of acrylic, and drill holes (for air)...MAYBE
I like the yellow head jawfish....it's actually got a blue body

Pez, some words of wisdom on this, related to fish since a lot of the same rules apply.
1). Find the biggest you can handle - bigger means a lot more forgiving of newbie errors. Once you're successful at this level, its easier to move to smaller levels.
2). Preferrably all chemical levels at 0, though this is harder to test for than in your aquarium.
3). Be prepared to spend a lot.
4). They require daily attention, at a minimum.
5). Keep a close eye out for diseases.
6). Watch for compatibality issues.
7). Make sure you research and understand "Vodka dosing" -

Not to hijack meowzer, but I knew you'd appreciate it.

It's the cycle, I wouldn't worry about it. It looks like it could possibly be dinoflagellates though. What is your pH?
Oh and FishKid...no, no you should not.

PH...between 8.2 and 8.4.....so maybe 8.3.....
If it is the dino stuff...what do I do? I know you are supposed to get diatoms and brown algae, but I don't think I did with my 225???

I suck at this type of dinoflagellates. I don't even truly know the real name of them. I mean zooxanthallae is a type of dinoflagellates. Anyway, the bubbles are what made me think that. How's the flow. Is it just here? I say suck it off and hope for the best
Don't freak out about bad water quality...you have bad water quality and that is to be expected.

LOL...I'm not freaking out...yet....I just added a Koralia 1, and a Koralia 2...I have the K1 on left back of tank pointing towards the right..behind the rocks
I have the K2 top right hand back on tank pointing towards the front....
I'm not worried about ammonia and stuff, I know that is to be expected..

Things are looking good for now. Don't freak about the brown stuff and bubbles. As with all live rock and even sand these bubbles are trapped when the rock is removed from water, and yours was out for some time. Keep doing what you are doing.........JMO.
