You can get anything you want. Can you put it in the 29 right now, no. we are testing the waters here. A couple of snails no big deal. A cube of food no big deal. An emerald crab could hide in the rocks and you would not know if it were dead or alive.
I wasn't planning on ordering a full tank this order..I was thinking a portion of a cuc...I plan on ordering some snails for my other tanks anyway...
The only reason I mentioned putting cerith in is cause I already have them in both tanks, and in the fuge....I have one mexican turbo in each tank too, but I am ordering more soon.

OK, I went ahead and threw in some more mysis...I will test tomorrow and Sunday and see if anything changes.
I will order a mexican turbo, teddy bear conch (??), a couple small nassarius, and about 5 cerith...that I will probably get Wednesday....How does that sound??

Sounds like a good cuc
Any thought in what shrimp you want? I don't really care for turbos. I had one once upon a time. It was a pita. It would always knock stuff over. You will also probably have to feed it quite a bit, which imo kinda defeats the purpose of having it in the first place.

Sounds good but I don't know what a Teddy Bear conch is. Why not a fighting conch? Strombus alatus Proven diatom eater and sand cleaner!

It's much easier to give others advice. When it comes to adding things to your own tank...you tend to get a little picky.

Me too...that's why I put them in there...in the 54g the other fish are eating them fast...there is no ammonia, or other toxins in the 29...and nothing to eat them....so....

OK..threw in some more mysis yesterday, (and some live baby shrimp that hatched in my 54gLOL)LEVELS are ammonia, nitrite, nitrate....ALL ZERO
Temp 80, PH 8.4, Salinity 1.025
I think I may pull 2 ceriths, and maybe 2 nassarius from my other tanks and toss them in....anyone agree, or disagree???

OK...added 2 cerith, 2 nassarius, and one of those little round margarita's....
I'll let you know when the tank is clean

OH, and when I was taking a snail out of the fuge, a nickel size piece of chaeto came with it...so I threw it in too...
