i have a 30 galleon tank and its about 1/3 covered with some bubble algea so how many emrald crabs should i get?

right now i have crushed coral in the bottme of my tank. I'd like to add a layer of sand on top of it. Can i do this without taking the hole tank apart? and if so, how should i do it?

what are those brown anemone lookin things that are in some pieces of live rock? They have alot of tentacles w/ alittle bit of white in the tentacles

i want one that i can ajust and has a large range of flow going into the tank because i don't want it to cause alot of flow in the tank.

mine only losses its bubble tips when it's hurgrey. Why do some lose them, forever, no matter what? I'v heard opinions but does anyone know the scientific reason?

which one do you guys think i should get for my 30 galleon. I know i shouldn't put a yellow in that small of a tank but what if i got a litttle one(2-4 inch.)? and only kept it until it got to big for my tank. Or go with a sailfin tang that only grows to be 2-3 inch.?

well my first fish that i ever got, died today(flase perc.) now i have a baby false perc that i just got about a week ago, so i'm gonna take it back to the LFS and get a Maroon clown(its really pretty) i'll post pics of it when i get it.

my girlfriend has just set up a 30 galleon and its been set up for about 3-4 weeks now and her ammonia is still about 1.0 what can she do to lower it?
