Dang...that sucks...This is why I NEVER let my GF even near the tank. Even if she get's too close to look at anything...I have her get back. Sorry to hear about this.
I went back to the LFS and asked again what the name of it was...
but, Dang...I must be dumb or something cuz I forgot on the way here what the eel is called.
I remember something like (opps...I remember now)
Chainlinkt eel. He said it looks similar to a Tessy...but it's not...
I'm not sure about the tank...but, if you are good with wood...you could make your own stand at a fraction of the cost.
I did...made a stand for 80 dollars...that thing could hold a MAC truck
So I am finally starting to stock the tank.
Have a 135 (thought it was 120 til I measured and did calculations).
In there so far..
1. Panther Grouper (about 3 - 4 inches)
2. ??? Eel (about 8 inches). I knew the actual name..
I swear I must be losing my mind. I know I did research and asked...
So...I made the mistake of not reminding my daughter to COMPLETELY wash the reef sand before putting into the tank.
It's about 50lbs of reef sand and she didn't even wash before dumping into the tank. OMJESUS what a big cloud of doom.
I talked to the LFS and he said I should use the white...
Ok...I have to say that stand looks great.. One question, how come you used 2x4 for the frame instead of 4x4? does it make a difference?
Was it just your preference?
