I have a 29/30 gallon aquarium with a seaclone 100 on it actually... So this is probably good info... I just set it up and with NOTHING in the tank but salt water it was pulling out crap that fell in the tank... and crap that gathered on the remnents of the CC I had on the bottom and couldn't...

I have fish in there currently.... but I intend to add corals when my tank matures a bit...

So here is the deal... previously I had added a few powerheads to my system maxi-jet 900's x 2 (230 gph) in addition to my canister filter (350 gph). However after reading the endless posts here about the importance of a skimmer in all size systems I went out and bought a skimmer for my tank...

I also just recently got a Typhoon I and it came /w a gauge and meter FOR FREE!... it produces top notch RO/DI water and with adaquate pressure can produce 75 gpd (gallons per day) which is the highest amount I have seen for a unit this cheap. I highly recommend it... and so do my new pets
