    Octopus...

Octopi do very well even in those tiny Penn Plax boxes, it may seem cruel to keep them in a litle box, but they actually can live a great healthy life in such a small container. My high schools Marine Aquaculture and traveling sea lab raised one that did great, since its the summer now, the...

    Octopus Pics

I just got my octo about a month ago, she's all alone in her tank with an exception of some sea stars and a cucumber. She's doing great so far, I made her a couple little caves out of the live rock, I love it when my friends come over and try to find her only to see them jump back when they...

I think my Star killed my Anenome??

I'm not sure, but I know that Choc. Chip starfish are not reef safe. It's possible that it died and then the sea star tried to get some food out of it.

    My Dilemma...Hang On Filter

Canister filters filter more effectively then hang on filters. I've heard very good things about the Fluval and Filstar canister filters.

Hey, I just set up a 50 gallon tank and I need some of your ideas for livestock. This is a fish only tank, I most likely will get some live rock though. I'm really not sure what I want yet, so I need some ideas. I'm thinking about a mini-agressive tank, with a mated pair of Maroon clownfish, a...

I was thinking of a mini-agressive tank. I'm hoping to get a mated pair of Maroon Clownfish because I know only one can be kept per tank. I was also thinking about a Moray Eel, I'm also interested in a dwarf Lionfish.

    HippO??

Don't buy a tang while you have ick in the tank, that would be pretty stupid. Get rid of all the ick first, then when your sure all the ick is gone think about adding a hippo. Blue hippo tangs are extremely sensitive to ick so definetly wait.

    A question about Seahorses

Seahorses are not easy to keep, but that shouldn't discourage you from trying to keep them. First of all, seahorses are very short lived, they only eat live foods, not even frozen. They also need excelent water conditions and filtration. They can be kept with community fish, pipefish would be...
