Do any of you all change your lighting timers when the time changes from standard time to daylight savings or do you leave them alone??

Yeah I agree....I would go with MH.....especially with a 90g tank.....you will not be as limited as to what you can keep like you will with PC or VHO.....I would consider atleast running two NO actinics with the MH though.....even if you do get a 10K or better MH bulb! It makes a big diff!!! :D

Hey Ramey, You have Icecap right???....well if you do then take the cover off the ballast and see if the ballast is Icecap! I don't know but I really don't think that you will find an "ICE CAP" ballast and look at the lable on the ballast in side the box.....see what the amper rating is on...

BTW.....Zooxanthellae is what corals use in the production of food....via Photosynthesis....the less light you have the more Zooanthellae that the coral needs to produce enough food and the more light the less they need to produce the same amout of food! cool huh! :D

Hey, its prob just purging itself of extra Zooxanthellae, this is normal for corals that have been put in a new environment....is it like a brownish stringy type excretion.....if it is it is prob what is happing....is your tank much brighter than the one in the store you bought it from?

I agree with Kelly I too have a 7 gallon bow....I personally wouldn't go any other way if I were going to do a tank less than 10 gallons! I am running a Skilter 250 (modified to skim better) on mine and two 13 watt smart lamps...but as Kelly said the single 32 watt retro would be the better way...
