HoldFast worked well for me. Its a 2 part epoxy putty.

I go by weight when i measure. I mix about 18 ounces of salt per 5 gallons of RO/DI. That gives me about 1.023-1.024. I usually have to do slight adjustments though. Best thing to do is put small amounts and gradually add salt until you reach 1.025.

I believe they are the same company now. One bought out the other so i really don't think it matters. Only difference would probably be styling of stands and different size tanks.

For a FOWLR the standard lighting is sufficient.

Yes as long as cyanoacrylite and its a gel base glue, you are good to go.

I think its a great unit. I will admit, I didnt like it at first. I thought it was too much light. But after the bulbs burnt in, it was totally different. The stock bulbs are perfect. They give the perfect color for my reef. I would recommend it.

I was told never to vacuum sand. You can cause a spike in your levels and potentially harm your livestock.

Dont do any water changes. Looks to me like your cycle is started. Test every other day so you can monitor the cycle. Good luck.

I used Red Sea for about 2 years. I just recently switched to Tropic Marin Pro and my corals couldn't be happier. I was having low alkalinity and calcium issues with Red Sea. I figured i needed something better. Ever since my switch my corals have perked up alot.
