    chaseter's biocube nano extravaganza

They are! Still fighting stupid diatom algae...grrrrr. My anemone also moved yesterday and he is getting huge. I am going to have to trade him in soon. He has grown so much in the few months I have had him. I am looking for a tiny sebae and I might even give another bubble a try.

    A Fuge in the DT?

I can't post the link as it is at a competitor's site, but here is a pic: It was only $40! It comes with it's own little powerhead and they make a larger version if you want that. If you just cannot part with $40-60, then go to your local dollar store, buy a clear plastic/plexiglass container...

    A Fuge in the DT?

If you have a small pvc pipe with mesh over the top, hardly no light is going to get through to the algae so that is probably not a good idea imo. You would have to get a large piece of pvc for enough light to get to the algae and I am talking 6 or more inches in diameter. I guess it all depends...

    Newbie, aquarium size

I want a 225 so I can go scuba diving! I would suggest a 10-14 or a 24-29. I got a 14 and I wish WISH I got a 29 instead:( So, I would suggest a 29. Sure you will spend a couple extra hundred to setup but it will be worth it. I am saving up to get a Red Sea Max 130(34 gallon) hopefully by next...

    Nocturnal Clown fish

My clown is only active during the day as well. At night he goes in his corner, away from my anemone:(, and barely moves as he sleeps.

    "Cobwebs" in my tank...

I believe that they are from coral and other inverts like anemones. They release stringy stuff that is very sticky when they grow or are trying to clean themselves. It also could be coral or invert waste.

    Anems in Nano Tanks

I had an anem die in my tank and nothing else died with it. If you leave it in there for a long time then yes, but that is the case with almost everything in a closed system. A 24 is fine for an anem. I would recommend one of the smaller species like a bubble or a short tentacle like a sebae. If...

    chaseter's biocube nano extravaganza

Yes I did! They are easily the most beautiful of the clowns. Here is a pic of my maroon and goby swimming together.

According to various sites, the Ritteri is the most demanding species and is best left to anemone experts. So, I would suggest against it.

No long tentacle anems then. I would suggest a bubble tip since you have good lighting now.

    chaseter's biocube nano extravaganza

It's so odd the way the maroon and the goby interact. The goby basically swims with it and they pass over and under each other and rub up against each other so slowly. I will get pics. I have seen the goby get angry when the pseudo would come into his cave. He would arch his back and open his...

    chaseter's biocube nano extravaganza

I got rid of the sick maroon. I didn't want to risk my whole tank getting whatever he had and so I took him out and returned it to my LFS. The guarantee ran up but they bought him back as a trade in and have a hospital tank. So...I bought another maroon that is probably a teenager, not a full...

Adding a third clown doesn't seem to have been a good idea

    My Maroon is Sick:(

Thanks for the help. I thought more people posted in here? I still don't know what to do with my fish so any help is appreciated.

    My Maroon is Sick:(

Yeah, I thought it was too large to be ich but too flat and popping up too quick to be lymph.

    My Maroon is Sick:(

The lymphocytes look puffy but this looks larger than ich and it is flat. I will try to get a pic. I just immediately thought ich if it popped up over night due to him being stressed. Or, it could be caused by the pseudo picking at him.

    My Maroon is Sick:(

I got my new Maroon yesterday. Today, I see that he has a large white spot on his rear fin. He is a baby and he seemed a little flustered when I introduced him to the tank yesterday and my peudochromis was pestering the new guy. Last night he slept up in the top corner and today he is down by...
