    I remember that happening when I set up my first tank. My large blue leg was scattered along the bottom and I thought damn the puffer finally got him. It is a molt I agree with dragracer. My blue is still crawling today and actually molted again last week.

    Apitasia in FOWLR tank?

    Fish only as already said no problem. Corals can be stung by them. If you want them out peppermint shrimp may help or chemicals. Cant have fish that will eat your shrimp though.

    I had that diatom problem because of phosphates. I removed them with a phosphate remover. Bag of little white rocks. Not sure how much info is alllowed. Also a sandsifting star to keep the sand stirred.

    4 to 8 watts per gallon depending on which corals. I keep most corals with about 6 watts per gallon from a t5.

    That's brutal. Sorry for the loss. Most of us have had these suicidal fish whether it's a trigger or a bottom dwelling flounder. Is it curiosity or did it get spooked ? Nobody really knows. Good luck wtih the other pairing.

    A skunk cleaner is going to grow to about 2 inches whether you want him to or not. The power heads do have some type of screen dont they? If not you can use a foam to filter the intake. Its sold at your lfs. Sorry for the loss those guys are not cheap.

    as a novice I picked one up and he lived through medium water quality and even a copper free ich treatment for a little while. He eventually perished. If your water parameters are good I might have one.

    Live rock set-up?

    Unfortunately I dont have a picture for you but I'm sure you can find them on the internet. They are ok for a fish only tank but with any corals Iwouldnt risk getting the corals stung.
