I don't know why my nitrates shot up so quickly. I am changing 10g daily. I haven't seen any signs of ich. he seems to do the most scratching odly enough when I am removing or adding water.

The rock was cured, it was sitting in rubbermain containers with a powerhead and a heater for 6 about 3-4 months. Sep you are correct, the ammonia was at 10ppm. After I added more LR my ammonia dropped to 0ppm. I checked again tonight and it is still 0ppm.
