When I plug the filter in, it makes no noise at all so the pump must have gone bad. I saw it at a couple online places for around 150 bucks, but it said "discontinued" beside the item. Does anyone online carry them, or does this mean I have to sell or throw out the rest of my 2227?

I was going to say that the shell and "head" of the snail looks nothing like a queen conch to me. Are they harmless if you did decide to keep one?

If all else fails, there are some great products out there that will get rid of it quickly, and in my case permanently without harming anything else. It had completely overrun my tank a couple years ago.

I've had a fish only tank for years. Now I have a couple corals and smaller fish and inverts. I used to have a queen angel and she was great. Would getting another queen be a threat to a reef tank? I know this site says they're not reef safe, but I'd rather hear from personal experience.
