you should be okay as long as the water in the qt does NOT contain salt. If the water has salt in it dont do it. just get a couple of buckets and put tap water in them. then run apump in them for 24 hours and add your chems. you should be okay

hello all i have an icecap 660 with two vho 50/50 dayglo/actinics. I want to add a third 6 footer (i have a 150g so the bulbs are six feet) the ballast directions say you shouldnt do it but i called the company and they said to do all this wierd stuff. has anyone here done this?
