My wife got bit by a rattlesnake yesterday. We were at my deer lease scouting a new place to set up a feeder in the woods. She is following behind me and I hear her scream. She stepped on a 3 ft. rattlesnake. I had stepped over it. I then carried her about 300 yards to where the truck was parked...

The maroons are likely the culprit. Do you ever see them nipping or sucking the tentacles? If so, they could be pulling them off.....

I guess I should have specified that I will never buy a Salifert Alk. test again. From my understanding, their calcium test is good. I am going to have one of my friends test my calcium tomorrow (they all use A.P.I. for calcium) so I can compare the results with the Salifert kit.

Here are the test results.......... I was very precise with these and did them each 3 times and am posting the average. Salifert - 12.2 A.P.I. - 8.2 Red Sea - 8.0 Seachem - 8.0 And now for my new LaMotte kit..................8.0!!!!!!!!! The cheaper tests agree with the LaMotte test. I would...
