I just picked up two purple urchins from this site while I was in an order. I figured I'd give them a try.

The anal (lower) fins on my white stripe have some white spots on them. Like a fungus or something. It looks like ich. He hangs out near a GSP and now he's playing in it like he's hoasting it. I'm not sure if he's itching himself or if the gsp is giving him the problems.

Looks like a crustation... But smells like lunch!

Here's a good idea. Every time you see one of those buggers walking up your glass... Flush it down the toilet! They will eat things you don't want them to eat. I'm guessing you have a reef tank. If you get a total infestation of them get a Harlaquin shrimp.

They probably split often and can be found in huge numbers. DO NOT SUPPORT the capture of carpet anemones! Carpet anenomies do not thrive like other anenomes. A carpet anenome can take 100 years to become a breeder. If one survives that long and is pulled from the reef you haven't just removed...

Are you serious about that blue ring octopus? You got damn lucky you got it in the tank safely. That would have made for a bad day. You never would have known what hit you. I don't know if thats worth having.

I just got some Zoa frags and one with about seven watermellons has a tiny aptasia in the middle. The three surrounding it have closed all up. Think I could pluck that aptasia out with som tweezers? Will a little aptasia killer affect the zoas?
