I need to build a return line from my sump up to my tank. Any suggestions? I think I'm going to use a tank pump connected to a hose to get it to the top of the tank. But how sould I put it into the tank? How should I attach a pvc elbow?

I recently got a sump and am setting it up with my 55. I think I have the overflow all set. The return line though I'm not too sure of. Any pictures or a return line from a sum out there? I think just pvc all the way from sump to tank would work but is there an easier way? Hose?

I have a new 55 gallon setup and have some 32 inch 96w UV lights by CustomSea. Are these too powerful for this tank? What size should I be running on this tank?

I also have three 400 watt MH lights w/ ballasts and four 32 inch CustomSea powercompact ultraviolets. Plumbing and some pumps if interested.

I have a 400 watt MH bulb and ballast. Could I put that over a 30 gallon or would that be too much? There were three of them on a 30 inch deep tank.

I've got two and they are huge now. Keep it around, it'll be fine and when it gets too big just pluck him out and give him to a lfs if you have nothing else to do with it.

I did a little math and if I did it correctly the three MH lights are going to cost me about a dollar a day to run for eight hours. Personally, that makes me sick but I'm hoping I'm wrong. HAHA

I have a standard hood from a pet store on my 30 gallon with a power-glo tube. Is that enough light to support plants on the bottom? or mushrooms on the upper rocks?
